About the Cornwall Mental Health Directory

Who is this directory for?
This directory is intended to provide information on mental health services throughout Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly for service users, carers, providers and the wider public in a clear, concise and informative way.

Getting help
There are many ways to stay well and/or seek help.

The aim of this directory is to act as a signpost for people who may want to talk to someone else about their feelings or experiences. For many people, their GP is the first point of call. It may be that your doctor can help you, or s/he may suggest someone who can, or you may wish to make direct contact with any of the organisations in this directory.

It is important to remember that there are other people who will have experienced similar issues to you and therefore there will be people who can help. You may find it helpful to talk to family and friends, but you may prefer to talk to another person who has some knowledge (either professional or personal) of the feelings you might be experiencing.

We hope you found all the information you needed in this guide. Should you wish to comment on the Mental Health Directory or any mental health services you have received, please contact us:

Further Help

If any of the phone numbers listed in the directory do not work, then they are likely out of date. The Cornwall Partnership Trust Switchboard is more likely to have an up-to-date number than any other service. They are based in Bodmin Hospital and can be reached at 01208 251 300
